Cyber Security Risk Associate – Advisory

About the role

PwC is looking for a motivated Associate to join its Cyber Security Cyber Risk practice in Cairo. You will work with a globally‑distributed team to help leading industrial clients manage governance, risk and compliance (GRC) challenges and secure their digital transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with teams in the UK, Germany and the Middle East to deliver holistic advisory services.
• Perform cyber security assessments and audits against frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST CSF and PCI DSS.
• Evaluate compliance with regulatory requirements and third‑party risk management capabilities.
• Develop, review and maintain cyber security policies, standards and procedures.
• Benchmark client controls using industry‑standard tools and report findings.

Required profile

• Good knowledge of GRC concepts and proven experience in cyber security assessments.
• Familiarity with ISO 27001, NIST CSF and PCI DSS frameworks.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience for the Associate grade (3 years for Senior Associate).
• Open‑minded, able to thrive in a fast‑paced, unstructured environment.
• Strong communication skills to interact with senior stakeholders across multiple time zones.
