Cybersecurity Senior Engineer II

About the role

Schneider Electric is seeking a Cybersecurity Senior Engineer II to lead the design, implementation and delivery of OT and IT cybersecurity solutions for external customers in New Cairo, Egypt. The role combines technical execution, on‑site consulting, and mentorship to ensure robust protection of industrial control systems and networks.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage end‑to‑end cybersecurity projects for OT systems, including planning, execution and delivery.
• Develop, implement and maintain cybersecurity controls, policies, standards and guidelines for OT environments.
• Perform security assessments, penetration testing and vulnerability assessments on OT networks and identify remediation measures.
• Provide expert consulting, training and mentorship to customers and internal teams on OT cybersecurity best practices.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate security requirements into OT projects and respond to incidents.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a senior cybersecurity consultant or engineer, preferably with OT/industrial focus.
• Strong analytical skills to assess security posture and recommend remediation.
• Excellent communication and mentoring abilities.
