Data Analyst – Finance Reporting

About the role

Sana Commerce is looking for a Data Analyst to join its Finance team. You will turn financial and operational data into clear, actionable insights that support better business decisions across Finance, FP&A, Professional Services, and Customer Success.

Key responsibilities

• Build, maintain and improve Power BI dashboards and reports for Finance and other business functions.
• Deliver reporting on key metrics such as ARR, MRR, profitability, ROI and customer performance.
• Translate business questions into visual reports that enable data‑driven decision making.
• Develop and maintain data models using Power Query, combining data from Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, CRM and billing platforms.
• Act as the technical owner of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central within Finance, supporting reporting improvements and data‑quality initiatives.
• Collaborate with Finance, Customer Success and other departments to understand reporting needs and explain calculations, KPIs and data sources.
• Support ad‑hoc analyses and explore new technologies such as Microsoft 365 Copilot to streamline Finance workflows.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience as a Data Analyst, BI Analyst or in a similar analytics role.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Power BI and Power Query.
• Experience with financial or operational reporting.
• Experience working with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Near‑native English proficiency and excellent communication skills.
