Data Architect (DataBricks) – Manager

About the role

PWC is seeking a senior Data Architect with deep expertise in DataBricks to lead the design and implementation of data solutions for its advisory services. The role involves shaping data architecture across multiple products, ensuring consistency, security, and scalability while collaborating with technical and business teams.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse business data requirements and translate them into robust data models and designs.
• Maintain consistent data design across all systems and promote reusable data patterns.
• Identify and mitigate data‑related risks, communicating implications to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with product managers and technical architects to define data roadmaps.
• Contribute to reference data architecture, best practices, and data governance frameworks.
• Stay connected with fellow architects to share expertise and align decisions with standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in data architecture, engineering or related fields.
• Certified in DataBricks (mandatory).
• Proven ability to work with cross‑functional teams and influence technical decisions.
• Strong understanding of information security controls and data governance.
