About the role
An international technology company is looking for a DevOps Architect to support modern software delivery and infrastructure environments. The position is remote based in Egypt, initially on a 1‑year renewable contract, requiring at least 3 years of relevant experience.
Key responsibilities
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD and Argo CD.
- Implement GitOps and DevSecOps practices.
- Deploy applications across OpenShift and traditional infrastructure.
- Integrate HashiCorp Vault for secure secrets management.
- Manage tools including GitLab, Argo CD, Nexus, SonarQube, Jira, and Vault.
- Automate deployments, testing, and infrastructure processes.
- Troubleshoot and optimise CI/CD and deployment environments.
Required profile
- 3+ years of DevOps / CI/CD experience.
- Strong experience with GitLab CI/CD, Argo CD, OpenShift, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Hands‑on experience with HashiCorp Vault.
- Experience with DevSecOps and automated testing.
- Linux administration and scripting skills (Bash, Python, or Shell).
