DevOps Team Leader

About the role

Geidea is seeking a DevOps Team Leader to drive the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. The role focuses on automation, cloud management, system reliability, and close collaboration between development and operations to ensure efficient software delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage the day‑to‑day activities of the DevOps team.
• Define and enforce DevOps best practices and operational standards.
• Coordinate with development, QA, security, and infrastructure teams.
• Design, implement, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Manage containerized environments using Kubernetes and Docker.
• Oversee infrastructure‑as‑code using Terraform.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
• Implement monitoring and alerting with Grafana, Prometheus, and New Relic.
• Drive DevSecOps practices, manage secrets with HashiCorp Vault, and ensure compliance with security standards.
• Handle incident response, conduct post‑incident reviews, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong leadership and team‑management experience.
• Proven ability to work cross‑functionally with development, QA, security, and infrastructure stakeholders.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
• Experience leading automation and reliability initiatives in a fast‑moving environment.
