Digital Design Engineer

About the role

Siemens EDA is seeking a Digital Design Engineer to join its Cairo team. You will contribute to the creation of cutting‑edge ASICs, working across the full design flow from high‑level architecture to detailed layout.

Key responsibilities

• Define, design, verify, and document ASIC development projects.
• Determine architecture, logic design, and system‑simulation requirements.
• Specify module interfaces and formats for simulation.
• Develop multidimensional designs involving layout of complex integrated circuits.
• Manage the complete design flow, including synthesis, place‑and‑route, timing and power analysis.
• Analyze equipment data, conduct experimental tests, and evaluate results.
• Review vendor capabilities to ensure they support development activities when required.

Required profile

• Proven experience in ASIC development and digital design.
• Strong understanding of architecture, logic design, and system simulation.
• Ability to evaluate end‑to‑end design flow and perform detailed analysis.
• Competence in reviewing and coordinating with external vendors.
