Direct Sales Agent

About the role

The Direct Sales Agent will promote and sell MetLife’s insurance and financial solutions to both individual and institutional clients. Based in Heliopolis, the position operates in a hybrid model, combining on‑site client meetings with flexible work‑from‑home days. You will guide customers through the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to onboarding.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and prospect potential customers across various segments.
• Conduct needs assessments and present tailored insurance and financial products.
• Assist customers through application, documentation, and onboarding processes.
• Respond to inquiries, provide ongoing service, and resolve post‑sale issues.
• Maintain accurate records using MetLife’s internal systems.
• Achieve assigned sales targets and performance metrics.
• Follow compliance guidelines and participate in regular training.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support overall business growth.

Required profile

• Strong interpersonal abilities to build trust and long‑term relationships.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of simplifying complex information.
• Solid customer‑service experience with a focus on timely issue resolution.
• Basic finance knowledge to understand insurance and financial products.
• Proven sales expertise, including prospecting, consultative selling, negotiation, and closing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing or related field (preferred).
• Prior experience in insurance, banking or financial services sales is an advantage.
