Electrical Data Center Engineer

About the role

UniPower is seeking a full‑time Electrical Data Center Engineer to join its on‑site team in Giza. You will be responsible for the day‑to‑day electrical operations of our data center, ensuring power reliability, uptime, and infrastructure safety.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and manage power systems, UPS, generators, and cooling equipment.
• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical infrastructure.
• Support installation, labeling, and maintenance of cabling and electrical equipment.
• Collaborate with operations and IT teams to document system changes and implement energy‑efficiency best practices.
• Assist with capacity planning, compliance with industry standards, and continuous performance improvement.
• Participate in on‑call rotations and respond to incidents outside regular hours.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
• Strong background in data‑center operations and infrastructure.
• Proven troubleshooting and technical support experience.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively on‑site.
