External Audit Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced External Audit Manager to lead our audit engagements and ensure high‑quality delivery for our clients. The role is based in Alexandria and requires a strong command of international accounting and auditing standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and supervise external audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients.
• Lead and mentor audit teams, allocating resources and monitoring performance.
• Ensure audit work complies with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and International Standards on Auditing (ISA).
• Review audit documentation, financial statements and reports for accuracy and completeness.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to senior management and client stakeholders.
• Manage audit timelines, budgets and quality control procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in external audit.
• CPA certification is mandatory.
• Fluent English (very good to fluent).
• Proven leadership and team‑management abilities.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Currently residing in Alexandria.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of IFRS.
• Proficiency with International Auditing Standards (ISA).
• CPA certification.
