Finance Project Manager (Project Controller)

About the role

Alstom is seeking a full‑time Finance Project Manager to join its Cairo team. You will act as the economic and financial advisor to the Project Director and the wider project team, ensuring the financial health of rail and mobility projects from tender through execution.

Key responsibilities

• Control and forecast costs and sales accurately at the contract‑consolidated level.
• Monitor the Say‑Do ratio on incurred costs and challenge estimates to propose optimisations.
• Implement cash‑improvement actions and prepare periodic project reviews.
• Conduct analyses and simulations such as variation orders and back‑trading.
• Manage bonds, guarantees and ensure project accounting follows company guidelines.
• Collaborate with tax, treasury, insurance and other expert functions.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in finance and controlling.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and SAP.
• Fluent English with strong analytical and proactive mindset.
• Ability to work in an international, high‑pace environment with a strong sense of urgency and accountability.
