Financial Controller (Egypt)

About the role

Kerry is seeking a Financial Controller for its Egyptian legal entities. Reporting to the Finance Director for Compliance and Control (MISA Region), you will ensure financial compliance, safeguard assets, and support robust governance across the country.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure full compliance with Group policies in financial reporting, tax, treasury, insurance, company secretarial and legal matters.
• Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts, statutory forecasts, year‑end reporting packs and audit documentation.
• Oversee statutory filings, fixed‑asset accounting and IFRS16 lease processes.
• Manage record‑to‑report activities, including bank, intercompany and accrual reconciliations.
• Monitor working capital – receivables, payables, inventory and cash flow – and partner with Treasury to mitigate risks.
• Lead the Egypt Financial Control team, fostering collaboration with Global Business Services and other functions.
• Act as Site Risk Coordinator, completing internal control self‑assessments and ensuring effective risk management.

Required profile

• Proven experience in financial control, compliance and reporting within a multinational environment.
• Strong leadership and people‑management capabilities.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally and act as a trusted business partner.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
