Financial Controller

About the role

Kerry is seeking a Financial Controller for its Egyptian operations. Reporting to the Finance Director for Compliance and Control (MISA Region), you will ensure the company meets all financial compliance obligations while protecting group assets through robust financial controls.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure full compliance with Group policies across financial reporting, tax, treasury, insurance, company secretarial and legal areas.
• Lead and develop the Egypt Financial Control team, fostering collaboration with Global Business Services and other functions.
• Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts, statutory forecasts, year‑end reporting packs and audit deliverables.
• Manage fixed assets and IFRS16 lease accounting in line with Group standards.
• Own the Record‑to‑Report process, including bank, inter‑company, AP/AR and accrual reconciliations.
• Monitor working capital components – receivables, payables, inventory and cash flow – and partner with Treasury to mitigate risks.
• Act as Site Risk Coordinator, overseeing internal control and risk management activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in financial compliance and control within a multinational environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a finance team and work cross‑functionally.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on accurate reporting and risk mitigation.
