Finishing Gluer Operator – Manufacturing

About the role

The Finishing Gluer Operator is responsible for setting up and operating gluing equipment to produce high‑quality folding carton products. This position ensures production runs meet safety, quality, and productivity standards while supporting efficient workflow on the shop floor.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and operate folder/gluer equipment for assigned jobs.
• Perform makereadies and make adjustments to meet quality and production targets.
• Inspect cartons and test glue bonds to verify product quality.
• Monitor production speeds and complete required production and quality documentation.
• Support preventative maintenance and troubleshoot minor equipment issues.
• Maintain housekeeping standards and follow all safety policies.
• Assist other operators and provide break relief as needed.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1–2 years of experience operating gluing or similar manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to read work instructions, complete basic documentation, and perform basic math.
• Capability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work any shift (days or nights) and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and perform frequent lifting, bending, and climbing.
• Use of required PPE (safety shoes, hearing protection, safety glasses).

• Basic troubleshooting and preventative maintenance.
• Use of auxiliary equipment (inkjet, tape, labeling) – preferred.
