Frontend/UI Developer – Cairo

About the role

OHK is seeking a Frontend/UI Developer to join its engineering team in Cairo. You will create visually appealing, user‑friendly web applications that deliver a consistent and high‑quality user experience across browsers and devices.

Key responsibilities

• Translate use cases and specifications into functional front‑end applications.
• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable code following best practices and internal conventions.
• Ensure flawless interoperability of front‑end systems with a wide range of browsers and devices.
• Develop multimedia content and optimize application performance, responsiveness, and reliability.
• Participate in debugging, unit testing, and documentation of solutions using flowcharts, diagrams, and consistent code comments.
• Collaborate actively with OHK management and the engineering team.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of software development experience in agile team environments.
• Experience with e‑commerce or consumer‑facing web applications is preferred.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• Degree in Computer Science or related field is desirable.

Required skills

• HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery.
• API integration, REST, SOAP.
• Object‑oriented design and familiarity with application frameworks.
• Multimedia production, wireframing, mockups, graphical asset creation.
• Web UI design and user‑experience (UX) design principles.
• Debugging and unit testing.
