General Ledger Accountant

About the role
We are looking for a General Ledger Accountant to join our finance team. You will support day‑to‑day accounting operations, ensure accurate recording of transactions, and help close the books each month.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and post routine journal entries, including accruals, pre‑payments and adjustments.
- Perform monthly reconciliations of balance‑sheet accounts and bank statements.
- Assist with month‑end and year‑end closing activities and prepare supporting schedules.
- Provide documentation for internal and external audits and ensure compliance with policies.
- Help prepare basic financial reports and monitor expenses and revenues.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- 3‑5 years of experience in general ledger or financial accounting.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
