Graphic Designer – Visual Communications

About the role

We are looking for a creative Graphic Designer to join the visual communications team at the British University of Egypt. The role involves producing high‑quality visual assets for both digital and print channels that support the university’s marketing and event initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Design and edit visual materials for digital and print use, including logos, illustrations, advertisements, social media visuals, brochures, roll‑ups, pop‑ups, banners, posters, presentations and other promotional items.
• Support event branding by designing backdrops, signage, invitations and promotional assets.
• Ensure all visual content aligns with the university’s brand guidelines and communication standards.
• Review and update existing design materials to improve visual appeal and relevance.
• Ensure final outputs meet quality standards and technical specifications.
• Stay updated on design trends, digital media and visual communication practices.
• Support execution of design projects from concept to final production.
• Collaborate with faculties and departments to receive design briefs, understand requirements and deliver creative solutions.
• Coordinate with printing vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and quality production of design materials.
• Organise and maintain design files, templates and artwork archives.
• Undertake any other duties assigned by the line manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Multimedia or a related field.
• 2–4 years of professional experience in graphic design, creative design or visual communication.
• Experience in corporate, educational or agency environments is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of design principles, typography, colour theory and layout.
• Portfolio demonstrating creative work across digital and print media.
