HSE Section Head

About the role

The HSE Section Head will lead the implementation of health, safety, and environmental strategies across our manufacturing sites. This role combines occupational safety oversight with physical security management to protect employees, assets, and the workplace.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor compliance with OSHA standards and all applicable health and safety regulations.
• Develop, maintain, and communicate safety Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensure proper signage, labeling, and hazard warnings.
• Document safety inspections, investigate accidents and near‑misses, and drive corrective actions.
• Identify training and certification needs, coordinate safety training programs, and promote a strong safety culture.
• Conduct physical building security risk assessments, surveys, and penetration testing.
• Manage contract security services and develop a Building Security Operations Manual for all sites.
• Oversee electronic security systems, including access control, badging, visitor management, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and control‑center operations.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience in health, safety, and security roles, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Proven ability to interpret and apply legislation, OSHA standards, and approved codes of practice.
• Strong analytical skills to assess risks, investigate incidents, and recommend preventive measures.
