Information Systems and Security Officer

About the role

The company, a leading provider of credit rating services in Egypt and the region, is looking for an Information Systems and Security Officer to safeguard its IT environment and ensure continuous, reliable operations.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and maintain high availability.
• Design, implement, and enforce security policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests.
• Identify, analyze, and mitigate risks to information systems and network infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain incident response and disaster recovery plans.
• Provide security training and awareness programs for employees.
• Collaborate with IT and other departments to align security measures with business objectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+ are highly preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in IT system management, cybersecurity, or related areas.
• In‑depth knowledge of information security principles, tools, and best practices.
• Strong understanding of network protocols, firewalls, encryption, and security technologies.
• Ability to perform risk assessments and implement effective mitigation strategies.
