IT Administrator

About the role

Axis is looking for an IT Administrator to keep its digital banking platform running smoothly across all branches in Egypt. You will be responsible for the stability, security and performance of the company’s IT infrastructure, providing both remote and on‑site support.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain core IT operations, including operating systems, endpoint security, email, laptops, desktops, printers and other hardware.
• Administer servers, routers, switches, firewalls, access points, VPNs and LAN/WAN connectivity.
• Perform Active Directory management, group policies, print services, event‑log monitoring and backup audits.
• Manage virtualization environments (VMware, Proxmox) and assist with server provisioning.
• Monitor datacenter health, respond to hardware, system and network incidents promptly.
• Provide technical support to all Axis branches, collaborating with help‑desk teams to resolve issues.
• Support VoIP systems and coordinate IT requests with internal teams and external vendors.
• Ensure all systems are regularly updated, secured and backed up.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in IT administration.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
• Strong planning and communication abilities.
• Ability to handle urgent incidents effectively.
• Good command of English.

• Operating system administration (Windows, Linux).
