IT Operations & Support Coordinator

About the role

The IT Operations & Support Coordinator is responsible for installing, maintaining and supporting all information systems hardware and software across the region. This role ensures that assets are managed efficiently, incidents are prioritized correctly, and technology solutions are delivered to keep the business productive.

Key responsibilities

• Set initial priority of requests in the Service Pro ticketing system and assign appropriate resources.
• Manage site assets, inventory and systems to maintain accurate records.
• Proactively monitor and maintain systems within the area of responsibility.
• Load and maintain authorized software onto PCs and servers.
• Place requisitions for new hardware and software once approved.
• Participate in team member selection and coordinate tasks with colleagues.
• Provide feedback on tasks and contribute to team meetings.
• Collaborate with peers to understand and support new technologies deployed within the company.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent (minimum).
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in desktop support, network administration, and computer hardware support.
• Proficiency with PC and server management systems.
• Preferred: Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or a related field.
