IT Sales Systems Developer

About the role

Vodafone is looking for an IT Sales Systems Developer to analyse business requirements, design and implement innovative products and services, and own the full development lifecycle. You will work in an Agile environment, collaborating with technical and business stakeholders to deliver high‑quality solutions that enhance the customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse and translate business requirements for Vodafone products and services.
• Design optimal solutions and implement them end‑to‑end.
• Maintain code from design through development, using version control and DevOps practices.
• Provide third‑line support for live incidents that require fixes or enhancements.
• Document solutions thoroughly and share knowledge within the team.
• Ensure compliance with Vodafone’s security and privacy standards.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with cloud‑based infrastructure (OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker).
• Proficiency with DevOps tools and automation.
• Programming/scripting experience, preferably Java frameworks; NodeJS is a plus.
• Good knowledge of computer networks.
• Experience managing full application stacks from OS to custom applications.
