IT Support Associate (Workplace Technology)

About the role

Chalhoub Group is looking for an IT Support Associate to join its Technology team in Cairo. The role will provide end‑user support across corporate offices, retail stores and warehouses, ensuring reliable and secure technology services for all employees.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and support retail shops, including POS terminals, printers, barcode scanners and basic applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with POS systems, inventory management, PCs, printers, phones and network connectivity for store staff.
• Provide support for Windows and macOS devices, iOS and Android handhelds, and conferencing platforms such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
• Maintain connectivity tools including VPN, broadband, 5G, LAN/WAN and Wi‑Fi.
• Conduct planned preventative maintenance with vendors and manage hardware installations and de‑commissions.
• Oversee external technology vendors, ensuring compliance with KPIs and SLAs.
• Produce regular reports on EUC operations, vendor performance and budgetary OPEX.
• Mentor Workplace Associates and act as an escalation point for complex tickets.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of IT support experience in enterprise or multi‑site environments, preferably within retail.
• Proven ability to work onsite across multiple locations (office, stores, warehouse).
• Strong analytical skills and a focus on continuous improvement.
