IT Support Intern

About the role

Join b_labs, the digital transformation arm of B.TECH, as an IT Support Intern. You will assist the team in maintaining critical retail applications such as POS, ERP, inventory, fintech, and e‑commerce platforms, gaining hands‑on experience in a fast‑moving retail environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Level‑1 support for business‑critical retail applications under senior guidance.
• Investigate and troubleshoot basic application issues, escalating complex cases.
• Collaborate with IT and business users to identify problems and support fix implementation.
• Assist with application updates, testing, and User Acceptance Testing activities.
• Document solutions and help maintain the knowledge base.
• Monitor data flow between systems (POS, ERP, CRM) and flag irregularities.
• Support regular system health checks and log monitoring under supervision.
• Prepare training materials and provide basic end‑user support.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of application support concepts.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good written and verbal communication.
• Eager to learn, proactive, and able to work well within a team.
• Ability to manage tasks and follow up on issues promptly.

Required skills

• Understanding of CRM or e‑commerce platforms.
