Junior SecOps Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Junior SecOps Engineer to join our security team. In this role you will help monitor and manage security tools, support incident response, and contribute to vulnerability assessments and security audits.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring and managing security tools and technologies to improve the organization’s security posture.
• Support incident response activities by investigating alerts and helping resolve security incidents.
• Participate in routine vulnerability assessments and security audits.
• Maintain and update security documentation and procedures.
• Collaborate with team members to implement security policies and procedures.
• Assist in the maintenance of cloud infrastructures from a security standpoint.
• Support the implementation and improvement of security monitoring solutions.
• Document findings and contribute to reports on security assessments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• 1‑2 years of experience in a security‑focused role or internship.
• Basic knowledge of security principles, practices, and technologies.
• Willingness to learn about security tools such as SIEM, antivirus, IDS/IPS and cloud security solutions.
