Lecturer/Associate Professor/Professor in Computer Science & AI

About the role

AlRyada University for Science and Technology, Faculty of Computers & AI, is seeking qualified candidates for Lecturer, Associate Professor, or Professor positions in Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Medical Informatics, and Cybersecurity. The appointments will commence in September 2026 and are aimed at strengthening the university’s teaching and research capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and conduct research projects, securing external funding where possible.
• Supervise undergraduate and graduate students, including thesis guidance.
• Design, deliver, and continuously improve undergraduate and graduate courses.
• Participate in departmental and university administrative duties.
• Collaborate with partner universities and external institutions on academic initiatives.

Required profile

• PhD in the relevant specialization (Software Engineering, AI, Medical Informatics, or Cybersecurity).
• Minimum of three years of teaching experience at a faculty of computers, engineering, or an equivalent institution.
• Strong ability to work with colleagues from diverse cultural and professional backgrounds.
• Excellent written and spoken English, the language of instruction.
• Effective management and communication skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and motivate others.
