Maintenance Engineer – Facilities Management

About the role

We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join our facilities management team in New Cairo. The role involves overseeing both preventive and corrective maintenance of building services, ensuring that all mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems operate reliably.

Key responsibilities

• Execute and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance activities across the site.
• Monitor the performance of MEP systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire‑fighting) and ensure efficient operation.
• Coordinate with technicians and subcontractors to complete maintenance tasks on schedule.
• Prepare detailed maintenance reports and follow up on work orders.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental (HSE) requirements and company procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 1–2 years of experience in facilities management or building maintenance.
• Immediate availability is highly preferred.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance practices.
• Basic understanding of MEP systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing and fire‑fighting.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
