Maintenance & Facilities Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Maintenance & Facilities Engineer to lead the upkeep of our stores and facilities in Maadi, Cairo. The role ensures all equipment operates reliably and supports continuous business operations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance activities across electrical, mechanical, HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Monitor equipment performance, conduct regular inspections and respond to critical breakdowns.
• Lead a team of maintenance technicians and external contractors, allocating tasks and ensuring work quality.
• Prepare maintenance plans, track KPIs, generate reports and recommend improvement actions.
• Control maintenance costs, manage spare‑part inventory and support budget preparation.
• Ensure compliance with HSE regulations, perform risk assessments and support emergency maintenance procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics engineering or a related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in maintenance engineering, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory or senior role.
• Previous experience in retail, supermarkets, FMCG or multi‑site operations is preferred.
