Manual Lathe Machinist – Petroleum Services (Full‑Time, On‑site)

About the role

We are a well‑established petroleum services company seeking a skilled Manual Lathe Machinist to join our on‑site team in Alexandria. The role involves machining, repair, and refurbishment of OCTG accessories and oilfield equipment on a 3‑week on/1‑week off rotation.

Key responsibilities

• Operate manual lathes, milling machines, radial drills and other conventional equipment.
• Set up workpieces and tools according to engineering drawings and work instructions.
• Perform threading, boring, drilling, facing, turning and other machining operations.
• Manufacture new parts and repair damaged components.
• Inspect dimensions with precision measuring instruments to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Maintain clean and functional machines, report issues and support preventive maintenance.
• Follow workshop safety procedures and use required PPE.

Required profile

• Technical Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience operating manual lathes.
• Good knowledge of machining processes and ability to read engineering drawings.
• Experience with API and Premium connection threading is preferred.
