Math Teacher

About the role

The British Modern School in Badr City, Cairo is seeking an enthusiastic Math Teacher to join its full‑time teaching team. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality mathematics instruction to students and fostering a supportive learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and present engaging mathematics lessons.
• Create and distribute learning materials such as notes, assignments, and mental‑math quizzes.
• Source required resources and supplies for each lesson.
• Maintain a safe and conducive classroom atmosphere.
• Grade assignments and quizzes promptly.
• Invigilate quizzes and final examinations.
• Document and report on student progress.
• Participate in meetings with parents and staff.

Required profile

• Minimum of 3 years teaching experience in British schools.
• Bachelor's degree in Education with a specialization in Mathematics or an equivalent qualification.
• Strong communication and listening abilities.
• Excellent planning and organisational skills.
• Creative, energetic, and able to motivate students.
