About the role
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to lead design tasks for trailer manufacturing in Obour City, Cairo. The role involves creating high-quality 3D models, overseeing projects from concept to production, and collaborating with production and other departments.
Key responsibilities
- Create and review 3D models and 2D drawings using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
- Lead design projects from concept to final production.
- Prepare technical drawings and bills of materials (BOM).
- Perform design calculations and basic analysis.
- Coordinate with production and other departments.
- Improve existing designs and solve technical issues.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical Engineering (or related field).
- 5–7 years of experience in mechanical design.
- Strong problem‑solving and leadership abilities.
- Excellent communication skills.
Required skills
- SolidWorks
- AutoCAD
- Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes
