About the role
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Estimation Engineer to join our technical office team. The role involves preparing detailed Bill of Quantities, pricing mechanical systems and supporting tender submissions. Although the position is full‑time, the work can be performed remotely with flexible hours.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and verify detailed Bill of Quantities (BOQs) for HVAC, plumbing, and fire‑fighting systems.
- Study project drawings and specifications to extract quantities and scope.
- Provide accurate and competitive pricing based on current market rates.
- Coordinate with procurement and project managers for updated pricing.
- Support the preparation of technical and financial proposals for tenders.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 1‑4 years of experience in estimation or technical office roles.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and fire‑fighting systems.
- Self‑motivated with ability to work independently from home.
Required skills
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
