Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our production facility in 6th of October, Giza. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of a wide range of industrial equipment through proactive maintenance and rapid fault resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Execute comprehensive preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial machinery.
• Perform expert troubleshooting and diagnose mechanical faults to achieve quick resolution.
• Conduct regular inspections and implement maintenance schedules to uphold operational efficiency.
• Maintain and optimise hydraulics and pneumatics systems for peak performance.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols, fostering a secure work environment.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, parts used, and equipment performance.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years of hands‑on mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing or production setting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Strong commitment to safety and ability to follow established protocols.
• Proven problem‑solving abilities and experience with root‑cause analysis.
• Effective teamwork and communication skills.
