About the role

The MG‑Workshop Team Leader is responsible for overseeing the processing of custom and special customer orders, providing advanced product information, and ensuring high‑quality service delivery. This role combines technical product expertise with team leadership to support both customers and internal sales staff.

Key responsibilities

• Record and process custom/special orders, coordinating with delivery and production teams as needed.
• Provide advanced product and service information, answering complex customer inquiries.
• Isolate faults and resolve issues promptly to maintain customer satisfaction.
• Assign short‑term work schedules to team members and monitor performance against timelines.
• Handle basic issue escalations and provide managerial approvals when required.
• Conduct simple testing and quality‑assurance tasks.
• Monitor team performance, allocate work, review completion, and take corrective actions.
• Participate in personal development activities and maintain relevant professional accreditation.
• Stay updated on technology, regulations, and industry best practices through continuous learning.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent field.
• Minimum two years of relevant experience.
• Excellent technical knowledge of the product range.
• Strong communication, negotiation and leadership abilities.
• Proven decision‑making, problem‑solving and team‑building skills.
