Operations Officer (Procurement & Logistics)

About the role

HARTH is seeking a full‑time Operations Officer (Procurement & Logistics) to work on‑site in Cairo. You will support end‑to‑end procurement and logistics processes for packaging, raw materials and other operational needs, ensuring smooth and cost‑effective operations.

Key responsibilities

• Source and evaluate suppliers, request quotations and compare offers.
• Place purchase orders for packaging, raw materials and operational supplies.
• Schedule deliveries, track shipments and manage inventory levels.
• Ensure timely replenishment of stock and monitor quality and delivery performance.
• Maintain accurate records, update systems and spreadsheets, and prepare basic operational reports.
• Communicate with suppliers, internal teams and external partners to resolve issues.
• Support cost‑optimisation initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement of procurement and logistics workflows.

Required profile

• Strong operations background with experience in procurement coordination, logistics support and inventory management.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with suppliers and internal teams.
• Analytical mindset to compare quotations, track costs and monitor stock levels.
• Customer‑service orientation focused on reliability and responsiveness.
• Ability to work on‑site in Cairo, manage multiple tasks and adapt in a fast‑paced consumer‑brand environment.
• Relevant education in business, supply‑chain, operations or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in FMCG, food & beverage or retail operations is an advantage; interest in herbal tea and design‑led products is a plus.
