Operator Technician – Production Operations

About the role

The Operator Technician will run process and packaging equipment safely and efficiently in a GMP‑controlled environment. You will support production targets, perform basic machine maintenance and ensure compliance with GHK, HACCP and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Start‑up, operate and shut‑down production lines according to SOPs and production instructions.
• Monitor equipment performance, report abnormalities and assist in corrective actions.
• Support maintenance technicians with basic mechanical and operational maintenance tasks.
• Maintain GMP, GHK and HACCP practices, report unsafe conditions and contribute to zero‑lost‑time‑accident goals.
• Capture, record and control raw material and packaging material usage, prepare requisitions and conduct daily inventory checks.
• Coordinate with team leaders, maintenance, quality and other operators to ensure line efficiency.

Required profile

• Ability to follow approved procedures and work safely in a regulated manufacturing environment.
• Team‑oriented mindset with good communication skills.
• Flexibility to support different production areas as needed.

Required skills

• Operation of process equipment (e.g., drum emptying, can opening, sugar & pectin dissolving, mixmol/masmol systems).
• Operation of packaging equipment (e.g., cooling tunnels, pack conveyors, Vario Pack machine, palletizer/de‑palletizer, coding machines).
• Basic mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of GMP, GHK and HACCP compliance requirements.
