Procurement Specialist (Manufacturing)

About the role

The Procurement Specialist will manage the end‑to‑end purchasing process to support Powerline’s manufacturing and project operations. Based on‑site in 10th of Ramadan, the role involves issuing and tracking purchase orders, coordinating material and service requirements, and maintaining accurate procurement records.

Key responsibilities

• Issue and track purchase orders.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to understand material and service requirements.
• Maintain accurate procurement records.
• Identify and evaluate suppliers.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing.
• Monitor delivery performance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and quality standards.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and finance teams to optimise costs, lead times, and inventory levels.
• Support continuous improvement in procurement processes.

Required profile

• Experience managing the full purchasing cycle and documentation.
• Experience in supplier evaluation and contract negotiation.
• Strong analytical ability to compare quotations and analyse cost structures.
• Background in industrial or manufacturing environments, preferably electrical or engineering sectors.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or a related field (preferred).
• Proficiency with ERP or procurement systems.
• Attention to detail, strong organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to work on‑site in 10th of Ramadan and manage multiple priorities.
