Procurement Specialist – Raw Materials & Packaging

About the role

Bluebell Pharmaceuticals is seeking two Procurement Specialists to support its operations in Maadi, Cairo. The roles focus on sourcing raw pharmaceutical materials as well as packaging and marketing supplies, ensuring timely availability and compliance with quality, cost and delivery standards.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate and select suppliers for raw materials or packaging/marketing items.
• Request, compare and negotiate quotations to achieve best value.
• Issue and monitor purchase orders, track deliveries and resolve any discrepancies.
• Coordinate with internal departments (R&D, production, marketing) to align material availability with project plans.
• Maintain supplier relationships and performance records.
• Ensure procurement activities meet quality, cost and timeline expectations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Administration or a related scientific/administrative field.
• Relevant experience in procurement of pharmaceutical raw materials or packaging/marketing supplies.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities with suppliers.
• Good knowledge of procurement processes and documentation.
