Procurement Specialist – Supply Chain

About the role

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Procurement Specialist to join our Supply Chain team in Minya. The role focuses on sourcing materials and services, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring timely availability of quality goods while controlling costs.

Key responsibilities

• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with local and international suppliers to obtain the best commercial terms.
• Issue purchase orders and follow up on deliveries to guarantee on‑time material availability.
• Maintain and develop a reliable supplier database through continuous evaluation.
• Coordinate with Planning, Production, Warehouse, and Finance to support operational requirements.
• Analyze supplier quotations and recommend cost‑effective purchasing solutions.
• Monitor procurement KPIs, purchasing costs, and supplier performance to drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and maintain accurate purchasing documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in procurement or purchasing within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
