Product Engineer

About the role

Siemens EDA is seeking a Product Engineer to define, promote, and deploy interface solutions for hardware‑assisted acceleration using Veloce emulation and prototyping platforms. You will work with semiconductor and systems customers on pre‑ and post‑silicon validation, verification, and software bring‑up of complex SoC and FPGA designs.

Key responsibilities

• Assist Application Engineers and customers with integration and debugging of interface solutions in a hardware‑assisted verification environment.
• Create or support example designs that use QEMU‑based test software.
• Develop and deliver technical training presentations for the Siemens field team and customers.
• Drive adoption of Veloce technology at customer sites through hands‑on expertise.
• Provide exceptional technical support and build long‑term customer relationships.
• Collaborate with Sales to develop strategies that expand the business.
• Communicate customer requirements to Product Marketing and provide feedback to product development teams.
• Prepare and present technical papers at conferences and customer meetings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree with 3+ years.
• Familiarity with Verilog and SystemVerilog.
• Experience with UVM‑based or SystemC‑based verification environments.
• Understanding of industry‑standard interface protocols such as PCIe, Ethernet, AMBA‑based protocols, or memory interface protocols.
