QA Officer

About the role

The QA Officer will ensure that all production activities comply with safety, quality and regulatory standards. This position works closely with manufacturing teams to guarantee that raw materials, processes and finished products meet the required specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular investigations to verify that workers follow safety procedures.
• Perform quality audits to ensure compliance with GMP and internal quality standards.
• Execute pre‑ and post‑production quality checks and generate related reports.
• Oversee issuance and weighing of raw materials, approve material release, and verify storage compliance with regulations.
• Monitor plant conditions such as humidity and temperature to meet set guidelines.
• Check machine conformity to standards and ensure periodic maintenance is carried out.
• Carry out any additional duties assigned by the direct supervisor.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy with a very good or excellent grade.
• Fresh graduate – able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Good understanding of QA processes and Agile development methodology.
• Familiarity with quality‑assurance terminology, methods and tools.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Experience with quality audits and quality management systems.
• Understanding of Agile development processes.
