Quality Control Engineer – Construction

About the role

We are looking for a Quality Control Engineer to join our construction projects in New Cairo. You will be responsible for ensuring that all materials, processes, and finished works meet the required quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain quality control systems and procedures.
• Conduct regular inspections and tests on materials, processes and finished products.
• Identify defects or deviations and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare detailed quality reports and documentation for internal and external audits.
• Monitor quality performance data to spot trends and drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure construction activities comply with safety and regulatory standards.
• Train site staff and subcontractors on quality standards and best practices.
• Coordinate with suppliers to verify the quality of incoming materials.
• Participate in project meetings to provide quality input and support delivery timelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• 3–7 years of proven quality control experience in construction or real‑estate.
• Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, industry codes and safety standards.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to read technical drawings, specifications and blueprints.
• Detail‑oriented with a commitment to high‑quality results.
• Willingness to work on‑site in a fast‑paced environment.
