Quality Control Engineer

About the role

The Quality Control Engineer ensures that every product leaving the factory meets defined quality, customer, and regulatory requirements. You will develop inspection plans, supervise testing, and work closely with production, planning, and technical teams to resolve quality issues and maintain compliance with QHSE standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and execute inspection plans aligned with project and quality procedures.
• Perform and supervise inspections at all production stages, verifying conformity with specifications.
• Review design specifications to define inspection criteria, sampling methods and acceptance standards.
• Verify calibration of inspection tools and ensure equipment readiness.
• Coordinate with testing laboratories, submit technical documentation and validate test results.
• Maintain accurate inspection records, test reports and compliance documentation.
• Support production in troubleshooting, recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Manage product segregation, hold areas and shipping requests for approved items.
• Collaborate with QA to close NCRs and provide regular quality status updates.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial or Quality Engineering.
• 1‑3 years of experience in Quality Control/Assurance within manufacturing or heavy industry, preferably transformers or electrical equipment.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 17025 standards.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with production, planning, testing labs and shipping teams.
