Quality Control Lead

About the role

The Quality Control Lead will oversee plant‑wide implementation and enforcement of quality control procedures at Coca‑Cola HBC’s Qalyoub plant. The role ensures that finished beverages meet high quality, safety, and regulatory standards while supporting cost‑efficiency initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor online process control parameters to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Verify that sanitation processes on production lines meet Coca‑Cola HBC specifications.
• Review prior‑day QC records and confirm product specifications (CO₂, Brix, acidity) are correctly recorded in SAP.
• Plan and execute QC‑related projects, such as cost‑saving formulas and water reclamation.
• Develop and analyse statistical data to set quality and reliability expectations for finished products.
• Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reports for senior management.
• Lead training, motivation, and performance coaching for the QC team.
• Represent the QC section in regular meetings and present KPI updates.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis for depot or consumer complaints and drive CAPA implementation.

Required profile

• Graduate degree in Science, Pharmacy, Veterinary or related field from an accredited university.
• Minimum 5 years of experience, with at least 5 years in an FMCG or beverage environment.
• Strong command of written and spoken English.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Good understanding of local regulations and compliance requirements.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience using SAP for quality data entry and reporting.
