Sales Engineer – Compressor & Air Blower

About the role

We are looking for a Sales Engineer specialized in compressors and air blowers to drive business growth across Egypt. The role combines technical expertise with customer‑focused sales to deliver tailored solutions for industrial sectors such as wastewater treatment, cement, food & beverage, chemicals and power generation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies, identify new business opportunities, conduct customer visits, technical presentations and product demonstrations, and negotiate contracts.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing customers, act as the main point of contact for technical inquiries and after‑sales support, and coordinate with the service team for installation and maintenance.
• Provide technical advice on product selection, sizing and system integration, translating customer applications into effective solutions.
• Collaborate with order processing, logistics and finance teams to ensure smooth order handling, timely delivery and payment follow‑up, and deliver accurate sales forecasts and market intelligence.
• Prepare regular reports on sales activities, update CRM systems, and represent the company at tenders, exhibitions and industry events.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–7 years of sales experience in industrial equipment, rotating machinery, pumps, compressors or related fields.
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical/electrical systems and ability to explain solutions to both engineers and non‑technical customers.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and target‑driven attitude.
• Fluency in English and Arabic, valid driving licence and willingness to travel across Egypt and occasionally abroad.

Required skills

• Mechanical engineering and technical knowledge of mechanical/electrical systems.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Experience using CRM tools.
