Sales Engineer – Power Generation Solutions

About the role

TPS is seeking a motivated Sales Engineer to join its Cairo office. You will act as the technical bridge between customers and our diesel generator portfolio, helping clients define power requirements and delivering tailored solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with customers to assess power needs and propose appropriate diesel genset configurations.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals, including sizing calculations and cost estimates.
• Deliver product presentations and demonstrations on‑site and at customer facilities.
• Provide pre‑ and post‑sales technical support, troubleshooting issues and ensuring successful installation.
• Collaborate with internal engineering, service and supply chain teams to guarantee accurate product delivery.
• Track sales opportunities, contribute to forecasts and relay market feedback to improve the product range.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Power Engineering or a related technical field.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Customer‑focused mindset and proven ability to manage the full sales cycle.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites and work on‑site in Cairo.
