Sales Manager – General Industries

About the role

The Sales Manager will lead and grow the General Industries sales business by achieving sales and profit targets, developing key customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and leading the sales team. The role involves overseeing sales strategy, managing key accounts, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies for General Industries.
• Lead, coach, and develop the sales team to achieve targets.
• Manage key accounts and acquire new customers and business opportunities.
• Build strong relationships with key customers and decision‑makers.
• Support major sales opportunities, proposals, negotiations, and deal closing.
• Manage the sales pipeline, forecasting, CRM, and sales reports.
• Monitor sales performance, market trends, customer activity, and competitors.
• Identify new markets, customer segments, and business opportunities.
• Collaborate closely with Marketing, Technical, Service, and Operations teams.
• Prepare weekly and monthly sales performance reports and support pricing, commercial negotiations, budgets, and annual sales plans.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
• 8–10 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in General Industries, manufacturing, or technical solutions.
• Proven experience in sales team management and key account management.
• Strong background in business development, sales forecasting, pipeline management, CRM, and reporting.
• Excellent negotiation, leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
• Good command of English; experience with steam, thermal, utility, or industrial solutions is an advantage.
