SAP Data Migration Manager – Advisory

About the role

We are looking for an experienced SAP Data Migration Manager to lead the planning, coordination and execution of data migration activities for a SAP implementation project. The role will ensure high data integrity and minimal disruption while working closely with business and technical teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end data migration for SAP ECC or S/4HANA implementations.
• Develop and execute migration strategy, plans and timelines.
• Manage ETL processes, data extraction, transformation and loading from legacy systems.
• Configure and use SAP migration tools such as LSMW, LTMC, LTMOM, Migration Cockpit and SAP Data Services.
• Provide training, support and mentorship to junior team members.
• Collaborate with business owners and functional consultants to define data requirements, mapping and validation.
• Oversee data cleansing, enrichment, reconciliation and quality assurance.
• Monitor progress, report issues and risks, and drive testing, mock loads and cut‑over planning.
• Manage a team of associates, senior associates and external consultants as needed.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading SAP data migration projects, preferably for ECC or S/4HANA.
• Strong understanding of data governance, quality standards and migration best practices.
• Ability to work with cross‑functional business and technical stakeholders.
