SAP Datasphere Consultant – Senior Associate

About the role

We are looking for a SAP Datasphere Consultant to join PwC’s SAP Cloud practice in Cairo. The role will help clients maximise the value of their SAP investments by designing and operating data solutions on the SAP Business Data Cloud.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and operate data solutions on SAP Datasphere, focusing on data modelling, harmonisation and governance.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate functional requirements into semantically rich data models.
• Implement space‑ and layer‑based architectures (Inbound, Transformation, Reporting) to enable flexible authorisation and data reuse.
• Develop and maintain complex SQL‑based models and views optimised for performance and analytical consumption.
• Build analytical models with strong business semantics for reporting, analytics and planning.
• Enable data consumption in SAP Analytics Cloud and selected third‑party tools while ensuring consistency and governance.
• Integrate data from SAP and non‑SAP sources following enterprise data standards.
• Ensure data quality, integrity and consistency across all Datasphere objects and data products.
• Support data migration and modernisation initiatives, moving from legacy DWH approaches to a modern data‑fabric architecture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Science or a comparable field.
• At least 2 years of professional experience with data and analytics tools in an enterprise or consulting environment.
• Practical, hands‑on experience with SAP Datasphere is required or strongly preferred.
• Experience with SAP BW (BW/4HANA or BW 7.x) is a strong plus.
