Security Officer

About the role

The Security Officer will safeguard guests, staff and property at Rixos Premium Seagate, a luxury all‑inclusive resort on the Red Sea. Working closely with the Security Manager and hotel leadership, you will maintain a safe environment and respond promptly to any incidents.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor the premises 24/7, ensuring vigilance and rapid response to fires, fights, sabotage, or other emergencies.
• Control human and vehicle traffic, greet guests, provide information and enforce ID‑card access.
• Maintain and inspect security equipment such as walkie‑talkies, detectors and communication devices.
• Prepare accurate incident reports, log entries and shift handovers.
• Participate in Emergency Response Teams and handle bomb threats or suspicious packages.
• Keep the assigned area clean, orderly and secure, and oversee the movement of furniture or equipment for maintenance.

Required profile

• Professional, courteous and respectful attitude toward guests, managers and colleagues.
• Ability to work both day and night shifts in a fast‑paced hospitality environment.
• Strong observational skills and the capacity to remain calm under pressure.
• Good communication skills for reporting incidents and coordinating with senior staff.

Required skills

• Operation of security communication tools (walkie‑talkies, detectors, telephones).
• Incident reporting and record‑keeping.
• Basic knowledge of emergency and evacuation procedures.
